Coach Bio
Hello!
My name is Aditya and I am a first-year medical student at Western University. I completed my BSc (Biology) and MSc (Global Health) at McMaster University. I was born and raised in India and spent a lot of time traveling, which really exposed me to health inequities around the world and reinforced my passion for medicine and global health.
As an applicant with nowhere near a perfect GPA/MCAT, I worked very hard to emphasize my character development and personal experiences in my essays and interviews. I believe each of us has a unique pathway and motivator that brings us to medicine, and I am passionate about working with you to help bring out these values and highlight key traits that admissions look for in preparation for OMSAS submissions and interviews!
More about my interests: I am a passionate badminton player and represented McMaster. I worked in my community as a badminton coach to inspire budding athletes to overcome challenges, work in a team, and develop maturity through the process. I also worked as an educator with a private school and homeschool students that are unable to attend classes in-person. My experiences as an educator and coach have greatly shaped my interests in working with MedCoach to guide applicants through the stressful application season.
As a precaution for the pandemic, I am able to coach online (Skype, Zoom, etc.). Please feel free to message me and I would be happy to help out.
