Hello! I am currently operating a solo practice as a primary care psychotherapist in Toronto, Ontario. I'm originally from rural Nova Scotia.

Prior to medicine, I worked in many different fields - optometry, first aid instruction, life insurance, personal training, private tutoring, and home care. My undergraduate degree is in psychology. I applied to the Northern Ontario School of Medicine as a mature applicant and was accepted on my first try; I then graduated in 2018.

I matched into Anatomical Pathology but switched specialties after my first year; as such, I have been through the CaRMS process multiple times. I completed my training in Family Medicine in 2021 and am currently pursuing additional training in Practical Dermatology through Cardiff University.

As a person with indigenous heritage, I have been committed to giving back to the communities whose support was integral to becoming the physician I am today.

I've been coaching with MedCoach since 2015 and have helped many students achieve admission to medical school and successfully navigate the CaRMS interviews. It would be a pleasure to help you do the same!
