My name is Alex and I have just started medical school at Université de Montreal. Before attending medical school, I completed my Honors Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto with a double major in Nutritional Studies and Book & Media Studies. As a student who has never studied in French before (and now attends French medical school), I was extremely nervous about having to interview in French. I believe that speaking to others who were in the same situation that I was in really made me feel a lot more confident. Applying to medical school is an extremely stressful process- I can attest to that. Throughout my application journey, I was lucky enough to get advice from numerous medical students, which helped me feel more knowledgeable and prepared. I learned what are considered to be “red flags” and the best way to prepare for each component of my application. After getting my acceptance letter, I decided that I wanted to give others the same advice I had been given. I want you to feel confident when you’re writing entrance essays, the Casper exam and while attending your interview. I believe that I can help you navigate the challenging pathway to medical school. My goal is to ensure that you get the most out of our sessions as possible. I will tailor our session towards your learning style and ensure that we highlight the unique aspects of you in each part of your application. I am excited to meet you! Feel free to send me a message if there’s anything specific you would like to work on.
