My Bio
Sandy
Hello!
My name is Sandy and I am currently a student in the MD program at UBC. I have my Bachelors degree in Science with a major in Biology from UBC. During my undergraduate years, I worked as a tutor, residence advisor, server, research assistant, etc. I also spent much of my time volunteering at the hospital and getting involved in biology and research clubs. Prior to beginning medical school, I worked as an academic instructor through which I created study guides, practice questions and hosted midterm and final exam review sessions for university level Biology and Chemistry. During my free time, I enjoy cooking, hiking and trying new restaurants.
I understand that getting into medical school can be stressful and difficult. I am here to ease that process for you and use my extensive coaching experience to help you achieve your goals. I am a firm believer that everyone has unique experiences to bring to the table. My role is to help you reflect on these experiences, learn about your strengths and use them to help you shine during the application and interview process. Whether you need help with your application, CASPer, MMI, interview preparation or just have general questions about getting into medicine, I am here to support and guide you. I look forward to coaching you and helping you build confidence during this process.
If you would like to book a session but do not see a time that works for you, please contact me and we can arrange for a session that fits both of our schedules.
