Location: Montreal, QC

Type of Coach: Med-P

I’m currently a Med2 from the MedP program (coming from Dawson). I have a lot of research experience (especially clinical research). In my free time, I love to play sports as well as volunteer as a First Responder with St. John Ambulance.
I have coached many people in the past, especially for introduction to MMI and practice. I like to teach techniques that you can apply during your MMI to help reduce the stress and focus on the station! I will also teach you how to express your skills and why they are important for medicine. I am completely bilingual and am familiar with the application and interviewing process for all of the quebec school as well as panel interviews.
I offer online coaching sessions as well as live sessions (depending on my schedule). I also offer group coaching sessions, if any of your friends are going through the process at the same time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions…
Best of luck to everyone!

  1. I had a session with Ella. She has her unique style. She’s someone who really care for what she does. She genuinely care about her clients. She’s ready to share her knowledge. She’ll work with you on defining a general framework to understand yourself better as a person and make you think about your inner motivation to enter medicine. She’s someone very intelligent and thoughtful. One point of improvement would be to ask about the expectations of the candidate at the beginning of the meeting to make adjustments during the process.

I had a great experience so far and it definitely helps me being more aware on how I view myself and structure my answers to become more persuasive to obtain my goals. High five Ella!

  3. Ella is an incredible coach! Every coaching session is an amazing learning experience! She teaches you how to express and understand yourself in a more professional and sophisticated manner!
She has such great communication skills! She always takes the perfect amount of time to explain herself to make sure that her clients understand what makes a great application. You can tell that she really cares about everyone she is working with and yearns for their future success.
She always takes the time out of her day to help her students and to try to provide them with the best chances of acceptance into medical school.

She’s probably one of the best teachers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Thanks Ella!

  6. I had a two hr session with Ella. She gave me a powerful lesson on doctor-patient interaction and a set of tools that I will find useful in the future as well as in the interview. There was no mock interview on acting scenarios, but I still felt I gained a lot from her. I would recommend her!
