A bit about myself: I graduated from the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University and am currently pursuing my MD training at the University of Toronto. Although it has been challenging, medical school has also been a roller coaster ride thus far. As I enter my clerkship years, I look forward to spending time rotating through various medical specialities. Through my experiences, I have grown into an open-minded and self-motivated individual capable of setting effective priorities to meet operational deadlines. I have also developed strong communication and organizational skills which I believe are assets for my chosen career. By being a coach, I hope to transfer these skills and to prospective medical students.

Application experience: In my 4th year of undergraduate studies, I applied to the following medical schools – McMaster University, University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, Queens University, Dalhousie University and University of British Columbia. I was fortunate to interview and be offered admission at 4 schools – Toronto, Ottawa, Dalhousie and British Columbia.
