Hello, my name is Harry.
I am a first-year dermatology resident at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I completed my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at McGill University and I went to medical school at the University of Alberta (U of A).
When applying to medical school, I had friends and peers who helped me tremendously and supported me throughout the journey. I simply want to pay it forward to help make the process less stressful for you. In the past, I organized interview practice groups and helped applicants including ESL students to discover their strengths and develop approaches to different kinds of interview questions. I also was the U of A interviewer for three admission cycles, so I would be able to provide you with individualized advices. I believe that sets me apart is that I recently went through different MMI and panel interviews across the country for the residency matching process (CaRMS). I not only gained new perspectives of how to effectively communicate what you are capable of in an interview, but also appreciated the importance of being authentic.
My goal is to make you feel ready and confident and show the best version of yourself during the interview day. If my availability listed does not work for you, please feel free to send me a message and I will see if I could find a time that works for both of us. I am looking forward to meeting with you!
