MD/PhD Interview Experience
My name is Jenny and I am currently a first-year medical student at McGill. I completed my Bachelors at the University of New Hampshire, where I majored in Biomedical Sciences (honors curriculum). I also earned a MSc. at McGill prior to starting to medical school. As an undergraduate, I was heavily involved in research and thus wanted to solidify my accomplishments with a graduate degree prior to medical studies. I have honed my communication skills by presenting at numerous conferences across the United States and my outgoing personality has earned me many leadership opportunities. Outside of academic extracurricular activities, I am also an athlete (most recently, a Martlet for McGill Track)! My passion for athletics has lead me to pursue many projects engaging underprivileged youth with exercise. Coaching/teaching has always come naturally to me; I’ve been a teaching assistant for life science labs, and mentored kids as part of community outreach programs from employment at the Massachusetts General Hospital. As an outgoing and analytic person, I am confident I can help you be more loquacious and confident in being yourself! Best of luck in the application process- please feel free to reach out to me anytime).
**As a courtesy to others, please ask me if you plan on booking more than 3 sessions with me to maintain fairness to other students who have not had a session and are requesting one**
