A bit about yourself: Hi! I’m Kelly and I’m currently a Med-1 at McGill. I’m looking forward to coaching you because there is no greater feeling then getting accepted into something you’ve been dreaming about for a long time! It would be my pleasure to transfer all the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years to you so that you can succeed. I enjoy running, reading, and Netflix binging. I have experience volunteering with a variety of patient populations. I was co-president of a club at McGill, and I’ve done two years of research on children and kidney disease as part of my masters degree.

Application experience:

I applied to McGill, U de M, Universite Laval, and Universte de Sherbrooke.

I’ve interview twice at McGill and twice at Universite Laval.

I’ve applied to medical school three years in a row, and got accepted towards the end of my Masters.

Don’t see availabilities that fit your schedule?

  5. Competent coach and has good view of what is required. I would have preferred a quieter meeting place but remains excellent overall.

  6. Kelly went over some interview questions and responses that I gave with me. She provided her own perspective (like what she would say in each scenarios). She is not only professional at what she does but also very friendly. She made sure that I understood the concepts before moving onto the next one.

  7. I had a session with Kelly. I could feel that she was very enjoying sharing her knowledge and experience with me. She’s really a great communicator with a charismatic personality. If I could suggest a point of improvement would be to let the candidate take more initiative during the meeting such as timed-practice instead of ponctual invitations to speak.

Very well spoken person with a rich background eager to enrich those she meets. A must to your journey on medical school!

  9. She was very helpful! I’ve read some books, gone to some talks about MMIs, and talked to others that have taken them. But she actually have gave me a fair amount of information that I had never heard of before.
I feel significantly better prepared because of her session and now know what I need to focus on to improve
    Thank you!

  10. As a returning interviewee, I was feeling anxious and confused about returning to the MMI at McGill. Meeting with Kelly B helped get me back on track! She is incredibly motivating and gives you confidence! Kelly B knew a lot about what to expect and gave such helpful tips that are easy to implement on interview day. She helped me realize what I can improve upon. Kelly B is also, as the other comments have mentioned, such a warm, kind, intelligent and respectful person. I HIGHLY recommend meeting her before an MMI!
