A Bit About Me:
I’m a second year medical student at the University of Manitoba. I completed a three-year general science degree at the University of Manitoba, graduating in 2015. During the 2014-2015 academic year, I applied to the University of Toronto, University of Calgary, and University of Manitoba medical programs. I was invited to interview at both the University of Calgary and the University of Manitoba, and ultimately accepted a spot in the Class of 2019 at the University of Manitoba. My interview experience includes both the MMI, as well as Manitoba’s Aboriginal Panel Interview.
Not only do I have previous teaching experience as a swimming instructor and a fencing coach, I also have a significant amount of experience with the MMI. I participated in the student run Mock MMI in 2016, as well as the Centre for Aboriginal Health Education’s Medical School Entrance Interview Workshop in 2016.
I am very excited to get to work with current medical school applicants, and hope that I can use my experience with the MMI to help you become more comfortable with the interview process, and confident in your interview skills. If you have any questions for me, don’t hesitate to ask!
If you are unable to meet at my availability, feel free to contact me and we can see if there’s another time that we can meet!
