Received an Interview at:
U of T (MPI)

Queens (MMI + panel)

UWO (panel)

I’m Wondu, and I’m a medical student at the University of Toronto. Prior to beginning medical school, I has just finished my bachelor’s degree in the honour’s chemistry program at Carleton University in Ottawa.

During my degree, my research focused on using mass spectrometry in different analytical chemistry applications. I spent a summer operating a mass spectrometer in a supervised injection site to test drugs for content of synthetic opioids like fentanyl and carfentanil. Aside from my studies, my personal activities mainly centre around advocating for better accessibility to quality education for youth from disadvantaged and underrepresented communities. I know first-hand just how stressful the medical school application and interview process can be and am happy to use what I learned during my successful cycle to help other medical school hopefuls!

Wondu was a very kind and patient coach. I would strongly recommend him for those looking for practice!

We were able to engage in a mock panel-style interview with questions that were realistic and similar to what I faced on interview day.

He was very constructive with his feedback and communicative on how I could improve. This allowed me to leave the session feeling much more confident. You won’t be disappointed!
